MTXGR — Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-02-26

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MTXGR (“Service”), including the landing page at mtxgr.net and the Matrix homeserver endpoint at matrix.mtxgr.net. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who operates the Service

The Service is operated by George N. Melissourgakis (“Operator”). Contact: gmelis@hermx.org.

2) Eligibility

You must be legally able to form a contract in your country and meet any age requirements applicable to you. If you are under the age of majority, you must have permission from a parent/guardian.

3) Accounts and security

4) Service description and encryption

MTXGR provides Matrix-based communication services. End-to-end encryption (“E2EE”) depends on the client and room settings. Some rooms may be unencrypted by choice or configuration.

5) Acceptable Use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Abuse, harassment, illegal content, spam, malware, and attempts to disrupt the Service are not allowed.

6) Moderation, enforcement, and suspension

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or if required to protect users, infrastructure, or comply with law. Where practical, we may provide notice, but we are not required to do so.

7) Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, be discontinued, or experience downtime. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page.

8) Disclaimers

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service.

10) Governing terms

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect. These Terms do not limit any consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
