MTXGR — Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all users of MTXGR, including the Matrix homeserver at
matrix.mtxgr.net and related services. Violations may lead to rate limiting, content removal,
account restriction, or termination.
1) You must not
- Use the Service for illegal activity or to facilitate harm.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse others, or promote violence or hate-based harassment.
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, scams, phishing, or impersonate others.
- Distribute malware, exploit code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- Perform denial-of-service attacks, excessive scraping, or any activity that disrupts the Service.
- Share non-consensual intimate imagery, doxxing, or private information of others without permission.
- Upload or distribute content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation (will be reported as required by law).
2) Security and platform integrity
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, verification steps, or security controls.
- Do not probe, scan, or attack infrastructure used by the Service.
- Do not run automated clients/bots that cause excessive load without prior permission.
3) Content and rooms
Room admins/moderators are responsible for their room rules. The Operator may act on reports or clear violations
to protect users and infrastructure.
4) Reporting abuse
To report abuse or security issues, contact: gmelis@hermx.org.
Include timestamps, room IDs, and relevant details if possible.
5) Enforcement
The Operator may enforce this AUP at their discretion, including taking immediate action where necessary
to prevent harm, stop abuse, or comply with law.
